Data Source Disclosure
CINTENT WealthOS(TM) aggregates data from multiple third-party providers. We do not manufacture or independently verify underlying data. This page discloses all external data sources used by the platform.
1. Data Providers
Finnhub -- Real-time & Delayed Market Data
Coverage: US equities, global indices, forex, crypto, earnings calendars, company news
License: Commercial API -- subject to Finnhub Terms of Service
Limitations: Rate limits apply; free tier data may be delayed 15 minutes. Some data fields require premium plan.
Alpha Vantage -- Historical & Fundamental Data
Coverage: OHLCV price history, technical indicators, fundamental ratios, forex rates, crypto prices
License: Commercial API -- subject to Alpha Vantage Terms of Service
Limitations: API rate limits: 5 calls/min on free tier, 75 calls/min on premium. Data may lag official exchange records.
NewsAPI -- Financial & General News
Coverage: Breaking financial news, company announcements, market commentary from 150,000+ sources
License: Commercial API -- subject to NewsAPI Terms of Service
Limitations: Free tier capped at 100 requests/day, articles delayed 24h. Developer plan used for CWOS evaluation.
FRED (Federal Reserve Economic Data) -- Macroeconomic Indicators
Coverage: US GDP, inflation (CPI/PCE), interest rates, unemployment, money supply, yield curves
License: Public domain -- Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis
Limitations: Data is updated on FRED publication schedules; some series have multi-day lags.
CoinGecko -- Cryptocurrency Market Data
Coverage: Price, volume, market cap for 10,000+ cryptocurrencies; DeFi TVL; exchange data
License: Public API (no key required for Demo tier); subject to CoinGecko Terms of Service
Limitations: Rate limit: 10-30 calls/min on free tier. Pro API used in production for higher limits.
2. Indian Market Data
For Indian equities (NSE/BSE), CWOS currently uses Finnhub and Alpha Vantage global feeds. Coverage of BSE 500 and NSE F&O segment data is available for major large-cap stocks. Real-time Indian market data from direct NSE/BSE data feeds is on our product roadmap. Users should verify Indian stock data against NSE or BSE official websites.
3. Data Quality & Accuracy
CINTENT does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed on the CWOS platform. Known causes of data errors include:
- Corporate actions (splits, bonuses, rights issues) not yet reflected in adjusted prices.
- Provider API outages or temporary degradation in data quality.
- Data normalization differences between providers for the same security.
- Currency conversion errors in multi-currency data.
- News sentiment errors due to ambiguous or satirical article content.
4. Fallback & Mock Data
When live data providers are unavailable (e.g., API rate limit exceeded, provider outage), CWOS may display cached data or clearly labeled demonstration data. Cached data timestamps are shown in the UI. Mock/demo data is labeled "DEMO" in the interface and must not be used for investment decisions.
5. No Redistribution
Data displayed on CWOS is licensed for end-user consumption only. Users may not redistribute, resell, scrape, or export CWOS data in bulk without written consent from CINTENT and compliance with the respective provider's redistribution terms.
SEBI & Regulatory Data Standards
SEBI requires regulated entities to ensure data integrity in their systems. Relevant frameworks include:
- SEBI Circular on Cybersecurity and Cyber Resilience Framework (CSCRF, 2024) -- mandates data security standards.
- SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 -- primary source for listed company financial data.
- RBI guidelines on data localization for financial data stored or processed in India.
CWOS sources publicly available data and does not independently publish price-sensitive information. Official exchange data should be treated as authoritative.
6. Updates to This Disclosure
As we add new data providers or change existing ones, this page will be updated. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Significant provider changes will be communicated via in-app notifications.
