Risk Disclosure
Investments in securities markets are subject to market risk. Please read all related documents carefully before investing. Past performance is not indicative of future returns.
1. General Market Risk
The value of securities listed on Indian stock exchanges (NSE, BSE) and global markets can rise or fall based on macroeconomic conditions, company performance, geopolitical events, regulatory changes, interest rate movements, currency fluctuations, and other factors beyond any investor's control.
There is no guarantee that any investment strategy, signal, or portfolio suggestion presented on CWOS will result in profit. You may lose part or all of your invested capital.
2. Equity Risk
- Stock prices can be highly volatile over short periods.
- Small-cap and mid-cap stocks carry higher liquidity and volatility risk than large-cap stocks.
- Sector concentration risk: investing heavily in one sector amplifies exposure to sector-specific downturns.
- Corporate events (mergers, insolvencies, delisting) can materially affect share value.
3. Derivatives Risk
Futures and options (F&O) are leveraged instruments. Leverage amplifies both gains and losses. It is possible to lose more than your initial margin deposit. Options expire worthless if the underlying does not move as expected. F&O trading requires adequate knowledge, risk tolerance, and capital.
4. Cryptocurrency Risk
Cryptocurrency prices are extremely volatile and largely unregulated in India as of the date of this disclosure. Key risks include:
- Regulatory uncertainty -- the Government of India and RBI may impose restrictions at any time.
- Exchange counterparty risk -- crypto exchanges can be hacked, become insolvent, or freeze withdrawals.
- Technological risk -- smart contract bugs, protocol forks, and 51% attacks.
- Liquidity risk -- thin order books in altcoins can lead to significant slippage.
- Tax risk -- gains on virtual digital assets are taxed at 30% in India under Section 115BBH of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
5. Macro & Economic Data Risk
CWOS displays macroeconomic indicators sourced from public APIs (FRED, RBI, World Bank). Economic conditions change rapidly. Policy decisions by the RBI, US Federal Reserve, or other central banks can have immediate and significant impact on markets. Historical macro trends do not predict future outcomes.
6. AI & Analytics Tool Risk
Signals, scores, and insights generated by CWOS's AI models are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or timely. See our AI Disclaimer for a full description of model limitations. Reliance on AI-generated content without independent verification is discouraged.
7. Data Feed Risk
Real-time and delayed market data is sourced from third-party providers (Finnhub, Alpha Vantage, NewsAPI). Data errors, outages, or delays in these feeds may result in CWOS displaying inaccurate prices, volumes, or news. CINTENT is not responsible for losses arising from data feed failures.
8. No Suitability Assessment
CWOS does not assess the suitability of any investment for any individual user. Suitability depends on your financial situation, investment objectives, risk appetite, investment horizon, and tax status -- none of which CWOS collects or evaluates. Consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser for suitability assessments.
